How do we know the expiry date of these batteries before purchase? How much of the 10 years is left?

These Panasonic alkaline AA batteries are generally held at New Zealand distribution for a maximum of 1 year. If stored properly these batteries are expected to last around 10 years (unused). This is affected by factors like temperature, environment and humidity. We are unable to provide or guarantee an exact time frame as the manufacture date is not provided by Panasonic.
